Now let me tell you a bit about our story. I was settling an estate and part of it included a family cabin. I live in another state and was unaware that there was some deferred maintenance that needed to be addressed. Cat dug in: some of the maintenance items ended up being larger than we had expected, the largest of which was the septic. She found contractors for all the projects and really took on the general contractor role scheduling, meeting, and keeping everything and everyone on track. She took my questions head on and got answers quickly,
communicating in a clear and concise manner and handling everything that was thrown at us with grace and optimism. This transaction had a ton of moving pieces: contractors, the county, an association, insurance personnel, title company, lender,
buyer and seller. Did I mention that amidst all of this she had her first baby?

"We first met Cat at an open house in Aptos. We were in the early stages of planning our move ‘over the hill’ and had only recently started going to open houses. Other agents we’d spoken with were quite focused on the properties they were currently in the process of selling, whereas Cat was immediately interested in us and our story.
